MAUI CIVIC CENTERLahaina, Maui - The Griffins got warmed up after 3 minutes of play in the 1st quarter to break a 2-2 tie into an 18-4 lead going in the next quarter. Ron Prettyman knocked down 2 treys to put away King Kekaulike of Maui 69-32. More impressively, Los Al outrebounded Kekaulike 26-13. Once again, everyone got on the hard wood in the historic but hot and humid Lahaina Civic Center. In a scary second in the 4th quarter when Brian Rakusin twisted his ankle and went down on the floor. It was determined later that it was not severe, however his status is by day-to-day. The Grifs will play the winner of University (Oahu) and Kauai.
